Awqaf Launches “Electronic Takalam” to Teach Arabic Language

The Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs (Awqaf) inaugurated "Takalam" website to teach Arabic to non-native speakers, through the Islamic website (Islamweb), affiliated to the Department of Religious Call and Guidance, with the support of the General Administration of Endowments, during a press conference held by the ministry on Tuesday afternoon, November 16.

Mr. Mal Allah Al-Jaber, Director of the Department of Religious Call and Guidance, opened the conference with a speech in which he stressed that the website (Takalam) for teaching Arabic to non-native speakers, through the Islamweb website, comes as a continuation of the role of the department in spreading knowledge and goodness to the largest number of people in the easiest and best way, and service to the language of the Qur’an, the Arabic language; by providing an integrated online training platform to publish e-learning content, to teach Arabic to non-native speakers, so that the interested and user find their purpose in the content provided, with high accuracy, an easy and accessible method, and a rich and extensive archive.
