The Coaches Committee of the Qatar Basketball Federation held Wednesday the first meeting of coaches from the junior and cadet categories in preparation for the launch of the new season (2024-2025). The meeting, chaired by Khalid Haroun, Chairman of the Coaches and Development Committee, and attended by the majority of coaches of the nine clubs participating in the federation's competitions, witnessed fruitful discussions regarding preparations for the launch of the first part of the age group league, which will officially begin next Saturday with four matches in the cadet league. During the meeting, the regulations and laws governing the matches were discussed, in addition to emphasizing the commitment to sportsmanship on the field and during matches, in addition to cooperation and collective work to develop emerging talents and advance Qatari basketball. It is worth noting that the matches of the first division of the Cubs League will start next Saturday with four matches in the first round: Al Sadd vs. Qatar, Al Gharafa vs. Al Wakrah, Al Ahli vs. Al Shamal, and Al Khor vs. Al Arabi, and the matches of this division will conclude on November 16. As for the Buds Festivals, they will start on November 2, with four matches bringing together Al Rayyan vs. Qatar, Al Ahli vs. Al Wakrah, Al Shamal vs. Al Arabi, and Al Khor vs. Al Gharafa, and will conclude on February 15, 2025.
