Dozens of Settlers Storm Al-Aqsa Mosque

Settlers stormed the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque from the Mughrabi Gate on Monday, under tight protection of the occupation police.

Settlers carried out provocative tours in the courtyards of Al-Aqsa, performed Talmudic rituals and listened to explanations about the "alleged temple", Palestinian news agency (WAFA) reported.

The Israeli occupation police deployed its elements in the courtyards of Al-Aqsa and at its gates since early morning to secure the settlers' incursions. The police imposed restrictions on the entry of the worshipers, checked their identities, and detained several of them at the gates.

Since 2003, the Israeli occupation forces have allowed settlers to storm Al-Aqsa Mosque via Mughrabi Gate. The Islamic endowments department in Jerusalem has called on the Israeli occupation authorities, more than once, to prevent such incursions and provocations but to no avail.
