HH Shaikh Khalid attends closing ceremony of Nasser bin Hamad Football Premier League

Manama, His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS), Chairman of the General Sports Authority (GSA), and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC), attended the closing ceremony of the Nasser bin Hamad Football Premier League for the 2023-2024 season. HH Shaikh Khalid presented the trophy to the Khalidiya Club team as champions of the competition for the second season in a row. The ceremony was attended by His Highness Shaikh Salman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Vice President of the General Sports Authority (GSA); His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa, Vice President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC); His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Khalifa, Vice President of the Bahrain Football Association (BFA); His Highness Shaikh Abdullah Al Fateh bin Mohammed bin Salman Al Khalifa, and Fares Mustafa Al Kooheji, BOC Secretary-General. HH Shaikh Khalid congratulated the Khalidiya Club, led by Mahmood Janahi, all members of the Board of Directors, the players, the technical and administrative staff, and the club's fans. He praised the performance of Al Khalidiya throughout the league, which led them to a deserving win, reflecting the quality of the administrative and technical work of the club and the players efforts and competence. HH Shaikh Khalid affirmed that Al Khalidiya's win for the second season in a row reflects the club's administrative approach and great technical work, wishing the club further success. He praised the efforts of the other participating clubs, wishing them better luck in the next season.
