Manama, His Majesty Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received senior members of the Royal Family, the Chairman of the Shura Council, the Speaker of the Council of Representatives, senior officials, and members of the Royal Endurance Team at Sakhir Palace today. The meeting began with a recitation from the Holy Quran, followed by a speech delivered by His Majesty in which he welcomed the attendance. His Majesty noted that the venue, Sakhir Palace, held a distinguished national status, having witnessed monumental national events that shaped the Kingdom's legacy. His Majesty expressed his deep appreciation for the continuous achievements across national and international arenas, commending the dedication and commitment shown by the people of Bahrain. He congratulated Bahrain on the historic victory of the Royal Endurance Team in the Monpazier Endurance Championship held recently in France, under the leadership of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa. His Majesty highlighted the team's determination and the impressive results that brought great pride to Bahrain. His Majesty also praised the smooth organisation of the by-elections in Muharraq for the Council of Representatives, noting the successful completion of this national task in preparation for the upcoming parliamentary session. During the audience, His Majesty emphasised the optimism and positive energy of Bahrain's youth, urging the importance of guiding them to live by principles of peace and respect, ensuring they become strong advocates of values deeply rooted in society. Expressing concern over the exposure of youth to violence in some parts of the world, His Majesty reaffirmed that an education grounded in peace, coexistence, and mutual respect strengthens their commitment to society. His Majesty also praised the values of interaction and cultural exchange, as Bahraini youth continue to engage with their counterparts from Europe, America, Africa, and Asia, wishing them further success. On his part, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalif a, Representative for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs, expressed his deep gratitude to His Majesty for the reception, commending the Royal Endurance Team and reaffirming their commitment to following His Majesty's vision. The Royal Endurance Team and media representatives had the honour of greeting His Majesty, who congratulated them on their efforts and dedication in representing Bahrain on regional and international platforms, wishing them continued success in future competitions.
