Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia’ Al Sudani and Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, who is visiting Baghdad, on Thursday discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to enhance them in various fields, notably regarding politics and economy.
The two sides discussed activating the Iraqi-Saudi Coordination Council to achieve mutual benefits and interests for the two countries.
They also addressed key regional developments including the continued Israeli occupation aggression on the Gaza Strip and the need to move forward with joint work and coordinate Arab and international efforts to end it.
The Iraqi Prime Minister and the Saudi Foreign Minister called on the international community to assume its full responsibilities to stop the ten-month-long genocide against the Palestinian people and protect their historical right to live on their land.
