Israeli Navy Shots Fisherman off Southern Gaza Coast, Detains Two Others

A fisherman was shot and injured on Monday by a rubber bullet fired by an Israeli navy boat off the Rafah’s coast, southern Gaza Strip, and two others were detained.

The Israeli occupation gunboats opened machine gun fire toward fishermen’s boats and surrounded a fishing boat east of Rafah port before detaining two fishermen, Palestine’s WAFA reported.

The navy also shot another fisherman with a rubber-coated metal bullet when he was on another boat.

The occupation’s navy attacks fishermen sailing off the Gaza coast daily, preventing them from earning a living.
