Manama, The Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs, and Endowments expressed its appreciation to lawyers for their extensive and constructive contribution to the initial draft of the new Lawyers' Law. Counsellor Dr. Mohammed Ahmed Ali Muqbil, Assistant Undersecretary for State Cases and International Cooperation at the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs, and Endowments, highlighted the ministry's commitment to thoroughly reviewing input from lawyers regarding the initial draft of the Lawyers' Law. This effort aims to create a modern legal framework that aligns with sustainable development principles. Dr. Muqbil also highlighted the efforts of the Bahrain Bar Society in initiating consultations with lawyers, aiming to benefit from their expertise in legislative and professional development, while taking into account modern trends in legal services and enhancing Bahrain's competitiveness in this sector. He emphasised the importance of the partnership with lawyers, who are key partners in the justice system. He said the ministry was committed to maintaining communication and consultation with them and considering their opinions in the initial draft of the Lawyers' Law, to assist in preparing a draft that is aligned with the ongoing judicial and legal development in the Kingdom.
