Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation "KAHRAMAA" has opened the Hamad Medical City power super substation. The opening comes in line with KAHRAMAA's strategic plan to develop the electrical network, serve vital projects and meet the increasing demand for electricity in the country.

The station operates at 66/220/11 KV, which enables it to secure the electrical energy required to cover the project needs at a total cost of QR155 million, including the implementation of the station project and all associated works. The capacity of the station is 200 MVA.
