Kyiv, Ukrainian authorities announced that five people were killed and 23 others were injured on Tuesday in a Russian missile attack on Odesa, southern Ukraine. "Unfortunately, the number of victims of yesterdays Russian missile attack on Odesa has increased to five", Ukrainian news agency (Ukrinform) quoted Head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration Oleh Kiper as saying. According to Kiper, 23 people who sustained injuries are still receiving medical treatment at medical institutions. Since the outbreak of the military operation in Ukraine in 2022, conflicting reports have emerged regarding the extent of losses suffered by both sides of the conflict. Each side claims to have inflicted severe losses on the other, but it has been difficult to independently verify the accuracy of this information due to the ongoing fighting.
