Tunisia hosted today an Arab League meeting at the level of permanent representatives, chaired by Tunisia's Arab League representative Najeb Al Muneef.
The State of Qatar's delegation was chaired by HE Permanent Representative to the Arab League Ambassador Ibrahim bin Abdulaziz Al Sahlawi.
The meeting will discuss 21 items on its agenda. They include the political developments of the Palestinian issue, the Arab-Israeli conflict, the activation of the Arab peace initiative, the Israeli occupation's violations in the occupied city of Al Quds, the follow-up of settlement developments, the wall and the refugees, the support of the Palestinian state budget and the steadfastness of the Palestinian people, in addition to the situation in Libya and Yemen. The meeting will also discuss supporting peace and development in The Republic of Sudan, in addition to supporting the Federal Republic of Somalia, and the Union of the Comoros.
