President of Vietnam Tran Dai Quang, has received the credentials of Obaid Saeed Obaid bin Taresh Al Dhaheri as the new UAE Ambassador to Vietnam, during an official reception held at the Presidential Palace in Hanoi.
Ambassador Al Dhaheri conveyed the greetings of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, to the President of Vietnam and their best wishes of good health for the Vietnamese President and more progress and prosperity to the people of Vietnam.
President Quang reciprocated his regards to His Highness Sheikh Khalifa, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, wishing them good health and further development, growth and prosperity to the UAE people.
During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations between the two countries. President of Vietnam expressed his satisfaction at the level of ties between the two countries. He also expressed his country's desire to develop cooperation with the UAE in all fields in the best interest of the two friendly people. He also emphasised partnership between Vietnam and the UAE and commended the effective role played by the UAE at the regional and international levels.
President Quang welcomed the ambassador and wished him success in his duties to develop bilateral ties between the two countries.
Al Dhaheri stressed that Vietnam is a significant partner of the UAE in the South-East Asian region, stressing that he will strengthen cooperation between the two countries in the future, especially in the economic and trade fields.
