Minister of Social Development and Family Wins GCC Humanitarian Work Award

The Regional Network for Social Responsibility awarded HE the Minister of Social Development and Family, Maryam bint Ali bin Nasser Al Misnad, with the GCC Humanitarian Work Award in its sixth session, during the Gulf Humanitarian Work Summit 2022, held in the State of Kuwait.

The Minister of Social Development and Family won the Award, which was received by Ambassador of Qatar to Kuwait HE Ali bin Abdullah bin Zaid Al Mahmoud, in recognition of her effective role in the field of human development and the promotion of community building, as well as empowering people and humanitarian agencies and contributing to awareness and strengthening the role of institutions.

The GCC Humanitarian Work Award is the first specialized award in the field of governmental and official humanitarian work. It aims to honor the leading government humanitarian projects in the GCC countries, highlight the Gulf charitable projects, contribute to increasing bonds between the GCC countries, and introduce the successful stories of owners of humanitarian initiatives in the GCC countries.
