MOEHE Announces the Launch of the National Science Research and Innovation Week Activities

The Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MOEHE), in collaboration with Qatar Research, Development and Innovation (QRDI) Council, and Qatar Science and Technology Park (QSTP), has announced the launch of the activities of the National Science Research and Innovation Week, under the slogan “Promising Researchers for Qatar”, with the participation of all teachers and students of public and private schools.

 

Among the most prominent activities of the National Science Research and Innovation Week are the finalists for the 135 qualified preparatory and secondary research projects, divided into eight categories: Biomedicine, engineering, computing and communication systems, earth and environmental sciences, chemistry and materials science, botany and animal science, behavioral and social sciences, energy, physics and mathematics. Moreover, about 270 male and female students from 100 preparatory and high schools participate in it.

 

MOEHE clarified that the final qualifiers for the participating research projects, which are the outcome of internal school exhibitions in which students compete in various scientific fields, would be held during the period from 2-5 October, 2022.
