The Mogadishu University (MU) awarded Thursday HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Federal Republic of Somalia Hassan bin Hamza Hashim with an honorary doctorate in recognition of his distinguished efforts in strengthening the relations between the two fraternal countries and his support for humanitarian and developmental programs in Somalia.

In his speech during the ceremony, HE the Ambassador stressed the strength of the relations between the two fraternal countries. His Excellency also extended his sincere thanks to the government of the Federal Republic of Somalia for the support they provided him to strengthen the bonds of fraternal relations between the two countries.

HE the Ambassador extended his sincere thanks to the Board of Trustees of Mogadishu University under the chairmanship of Dr. Abdulrahman Muallem Abdullah and the President of Mogadishu University Dr. Ibrahim Mohamed Mursal, for the kind initiative and trust in awarding him the honorary doctorate.
