Manama, Wael bin Nasser Al Mubarak, the Minister of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture, met with Dr. Raida Al Alawi, President of the Bahrain Society of Engineers, as part of his visit to the society's headquarters. Shaikh Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Undersecretary of Municipalities Affairs at the Ministry of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture, was present. During the meeting, the minister emphasised the society's role in contributing to the Kingdom's development. He highlighted the joint projects held between the ministry and the society. Al Mubarak emphasised the society's efforts to develop the skills of Bahraini engineering graduates. The meeting also reviewed current and future joint projects and files of common interests. For her part, Dr. Al Alawi highlighted the training initiatives offered by the society's training centre, an accredited local and international training facility, as part of the commitment to advance the Kingdom's engineering sector.
