Ministry of Commerce and Industry Announces Seven Basic Rights for Consumers When Their Cars Are Under Maintenance

The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MOCI) has announced seven basic rights for consumers when their cars are under maintenance, according to a tweet posted on the MOCI's official Twitter account.

1- Getting warranted replacement vehicles should repair duration exceed 14 days.

2- Knowing costs and deadline of maintenance works.

3- Knowing expiration periods of checking up, inspecting and repairing via a written document that is signed by consumer and service center.

4- Obtaining an Arabic-written invoice including all information.

5- Getting warranty duration of services provided by provider according to an agreement.

6- Getting durable spare parts of commodity.

7- Keeping spare parts if a car is outside warranty period, and seeing replaced spare parts of your car if it is still under warranty cover.
