Outcomes of HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister’s UK visit hailed by Shura Chairman

Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, Shura Council Chairman, welcomed the results of the official visit of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to the United Kingdom.

He underlined the significance of the visit in enhancing the strategic partnership between Bahrain and the UK, citing its positive results in the political, economic, and cultural fields, in line with the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister’s visit to the UK demonstrates the keenness to deepen the ongoing bilateral partnership to serve common interests, and protect regional and global security and stability, Al Saleh said.

The Shura Chairman highlighted the economic initiatives and the memoranda of understanding (MoU) signed between the two countries during HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister’s visit, noting that they will contribute to enhancing bilateral cooperation and expertise exchange.

Al Saleh noted that HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister’s visit reflects HRH’s keenness to continue high-level communication with various countries and to develop partnerships and cooperation with them.

He added that HRH’s visit has provided an opportunity to discuss the latest regional and global developments, as well as exchange ideas and views regarding topics of common interest, which affirms the Kingdom’s policy in creating its political and economic ties with other countries in a way that would bring vast positive outcomes.

Al-Saleh indicated that HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister’s official state visits have contributed to achieving many diplomatic and political gains for the Kingdom.

He underlined the Shura Council’s keenness on supporting HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister’s efforts in consolidating Bahrain’s role in dealing with global issues in a way that contributes to safeguarding regional and international stability and security, as well as enhance peace efforts and support prospects for development towards achieving the comprehensive and sustainable goals.
