MOEHE Launches the Third Phase of Land Allocation for the Private Educational Sector

The Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MOEHE) launched the third phase of land allocation under the BOT system, within the framework of stimulating the participation of the private sector in the economic development projects dedicated to the national curriculum.

This came during an introductory workshop on the project, attended by a large number of investors, owners of private schools and senior officials of MOEHE.

At the outset of the workshop, Khalid Al Hajri, director, general services department at the ministry and member of the Technical Committee of the Ministerial Group for the Encouragement and Participation of the Private Sector in the Economic Development Projects of Qatar, made a presentation on the educational system in Qatar, and stressed the commitment of the MOEHE to provide an educational system that keeps pace with the best world-class educational systems, enables the citizens to realize their aspirations and meets the

growing needs of the state. Al Hajri highlighted the role of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education in the organization, follow-up, monitoring and supervision, and supporting the private and public schools from kindergarten to grade 12, as well as higher education, in order to ensure that stakeholders receive educational services in accordance with the highest quality
