Qatar Ranks Seventh in the World in Global Finance Safety Index

Qatar ranks first in the Arab world and seventh globally out of 128 countries in the Global Safety and Security Standards 2019 published by Global Finance.

The index measures the level of investment security in a country based on various factors such as war, crime rate, terrorism and natural disaster.

The index measures security and safety in various fields to be collected and analyzed according to standard scores that give the overall ranking of countries, providing a comprehensive view of the economic security of each country.

Countries that are ranked above Qatar include Iceland (first), Switzerland (second), Finland (third), Portugal (fourth), Austria (fifth) and Norway (sixth).

According to the list of countries monitored by the index, Qatar is the only Arab country to be ranked as the top 20 in the Global Finance rankings by occupying seventh place after Iceland, Switzerland, Finland, Portugal, Austria and Norway, respectively.
