HE President of the Republic of Burundi Evariste Ndayishimiye received the credentials of Hussein bin Ahmed Al Hameed as Ambassador (non-resident) extraordinary and plenipotentiary to the Republic of Burundi.

HE the Ambassador conveyed the greetings of HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani to HE the President of the Republic of Burundi, and His Highness' wishes of good health for His Excellency, and further progress and prosperity for the people and government of Burundi.

For his part, HE the President of the Republic of Burundi entrusted HE the Ambassador with his greetings to HH the Amir, and his wishes of continued progress and prosperity for the State of Qatar.

He also wished HE the Ambassador success in carrying out his role, stressing that all support will be provided to help enhance bilateral cooperation between the two countries and increase cooperation in all fields.
