HE Prime Minister of Malaysia Ismail Sabri Yaqoub, met on Friday at the Malaysian government headquarters in Putrajaya with HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani.

During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral cooperation relations between the two countries, especially Qatari investments in Malaysia, food security and cooperation in the field of education.

The latest developments in the occupied Palestinian territories were also discussed, in addition to reviewing developments in Ukraine and the Rohingya refugee crisis, as well as a number of international issues.

In this context, the Malaysian Prime Minister expressed his country's thanks to the State of Qatar for its support for the Rohingya refugees in the health field, meanwhile, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs expressed the State of Qatar's appreciation for Malaysia's pivotal efforts in providing assistance to them.
