HE Permanent Representative of the State of Qatar to the Arab League Ambassador Ibrahim bin Abdulaziz Al Sahlawi chaired on Sunday a consultative meeting of the Council of the Arab League at the level of permanent delegates.

The meeting discussed preparations for the emergency meeting of the Council of the Arab League at the level of foreign ministers, to discuss developments in the issue of the Renaissance Dam, which Egypt and Sudan requested to be held on the sidelines of the consultative meeting of Arab foreign ministers scheduled for Tuesday in Doha.

The State of Qatar holds the presidency of the Council of the Arab League in its current session since March.
