The State of Qatar, represented by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), is participating in the last week of the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) 2022 Forum, to be held from May 30 to June 03, at the headquarters of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) in Geneva, Switzerland, titled “Information and Communication Technology for Wellbeing, Inclusion and Resilience.”
This forum is the world’s largest annual gathering of the ICT for Development community.
The participation comes within the framework of the State of Qatar’s endeavor to expand and enhance its participation in international forums and events, and its belief in the importance of international action and the exchange of experiences between active countries in various vital fields.
The State of Qatar, the golden strategic partner of the forum, is represented by a high-level official delegation that includes representatives of a number of the official entities in the country, led by Ms. Mashael Ali Al Hammadi, Acting Assistant Undersecretary for Information Technology Affairs at MCIT.
