Doha: The Qatar Sports for All Federation announced today the details of the running racing series, which includes a group of diverse weekly races, namely the sports for all mountain bike and running race, the autumn race series, and the sports for all women's races. They will be held in public parks and around the World Cup stadiums. This was announced during a press conference held today at the Lusail Sports Hall, in the presence of the organizing committee, which confirmed that the upcoming period will see the organization of this racing series, with an aim to reinforce community sports. Head of Activities and Events at the Qatar Sports for All Federation Abdullah Al Dosari stated that the sports for all weekly running racing series target all members of society and are within the framework of the Federation's efforts to increase the number of community sports practitioners so that these races become part of the daily activity of members of society. Al Dosari appreciated the cooperation of all bodies in the country in order to hold these races in a distinctive manner and have appropriate places and sports facilities, with the venues including the World Cup stadiums and Education City, which presented a good initiative to hold such sporting events to reach the largest number of participants. The women's race series will be an opportunity for them to practice running in an atmosphere of privacy. The Sports for All Federation focuses on community running races and motivating community members to participate by providing places that help them practice this sport, Al Dosari said, adding that it is part of the Federation's busy calendar, which includes more than 720 events and activities throughout the year, as well as the joint programs with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education.
