QSL Club Licensing Committee Approves 15 Clubs to Participate in Local and Asian Competitions

The Club Licensing Committee of Qatar Stars League (QSL) agreed to award QSL Club Licences to 15 clubs to participate in AFC/QFA/QSL Competitions.

Clubs were assessed in the areas of sporting, infrastructure, personnel and administrative, legal, financial and business criteria.

After reviewing the summary of submissions, the committee approved the following clubs: Al Ahli Sports Club Company for Football; Al Arabi Sports Club Company for Football; Al Duhail Sports Club Company for Football; Al Gharafa Sports Club Company for Football; Al Khor Sports Club Company for Football; Al Rayyan Sports Club Company for Football; Al Sadd Club Company for Football; Al Sailiya Sports Club Company for Football; Al Shamal Sports Club Company for Football; Al Wakrah Sports Club Company for Football; Al Markhiya Sports Club Company for Football; Mesaimeer Sports Club Company for Football; Muaither Sports Club Company for Football; Qatar Sports Club Company for Football; and Umm Salal Sports Club Company.

Club Licensing Committee agreed to award QSL Club Licences to 2 clubs to participate in QFA/QSL Competitions only: Al Kharaitiyat Sports Club Company for Football; and Al Shahaniya Sports Club Company for Football.

QSL Club Licences are valid for one season only, namely 2023-2024.

The QSL Club Licensing Department has confirmed that it has been actively guiding club football companies in meeting licensing requirements through workshops, visits and ongoing communication. This ensures that clubs complete and upload the requirements to the Club Licensing electronic system within the specified deadlines.
