Kampala, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Bassam Sabbagh, discussed Wednesday with his Democratic Korean (DPRK) and Venezuelan counterparts, bilateral relations and the continuous of Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people. That came on the sidelines of their participation in the preparatory ministerial meeting for the Non-Aligned Movement summit in the Ugandan capital, Kampala. Sabbagh and Kim Kye-gwan , Deputy Foreign Minister of the DPRK, exchanged talks exchanged views on strengthening bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and raising them to the level of the historical relationship that binds them. The two sides stressed the importance of continuing to coordinate stances and exchanging support in international forums and conferences and the necessity of joint action to confront the violations committed by US and its Western allies to international law and UN Charter. Later, Sabbagh and Venezuela's Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs ,Tatiana Pugh, talked about the developments in the Middle East region in light of the dangerous Israeli escalation represented by the ongoing aggression against Palestinian people for more than 100 days and its repeated attacks on Syrian and Lebanese lands. The two sides touched on the significance of developing and strengthening bilateral relations between the two friendly countries in various fields, which contributes to supporting the efforts of the two countries to alleviate the human suffering resulting from the illegal unilateral coercive measures imposed on them by the US and its Western allies.
