HE Dr. Mutlaq bin Majed Al-Qahtani, Special Envoy of the Minister of Foreign Affairs for Counter-Terrorism and Mediation in Conflict Resolution, met with HE Mr. Ilka Salmi, the EU Counter-Terrorism Coordinator, and HE Ms Rita LARANJINHA, Director for Africa at the European External Action Service, separately, during his current visit to Brussels.

During the two meetings, they reviewed cooperation relations between the State of Qatar and the European Union, especially in the field of combating terrorism and mediation in settling disputes, especially in the Horn of Africa and the Sahel countries.

The two meetings were attended by HE Mr. Abdulaziz bin Ahmed Al-Malki, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the European Union and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO).
