MOEHE Receives Applications for School Heads’ Professional Licence

The Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MOEHE), represented by the Department of Teachers Affairs, announced that it has started to receive applications for professional licenses for school heads, including principals and deputies who meet the requirements, in accordance with the Professional License Policy, through the registration link https://rukhsa.edu.gov.qa/, starting today through January 12.

This came in the context of the ministry's continuous efforts to develop educational cadres and upgrade the teaching and learning processes in Qatar, and out of the belief in the importance of obtaining a professional license as a guarantee of the quality of educational practices.

Those wishing to apply for professional license must pass the training programs according to the category they belong to. This includes first-time applicants and those who want to renew the license.

The Ministry stated that the registration of school principals on the professional licenses system comes as a complement to the procedures for granting licenses to all academic staff concerned in schools in Qatar. Registration opened at the beginning of the first semester of this year for all teachers and coordinators who meet the requirements for first-time applicants for a professional license, or those who hold an expired license and have the desire to renew it in accordance with the approved terms and mechanisms.
