Ramallah – Ma’an – The Director General of Police, Major General Yousef Al-Helu, received a delegation from the Palestine Islamic Bank, headed by the Director General, Dr. Imad Al-Saadi in his office in Ramallah.
At the beginning of the meeting, Major General Al-Helu welcomed the guest delegation, stressing the importance of strengthening cooperation between the security establishment and all sectors of society in a way that contributes to confronting negative phenomena, enforcing the rule of law, and achieving security and safety despite all the challenges and difficulties facing our people and their institutions, adding that the police force is committed to its duties, as well as the speed of response. In dealing with any attacks or crimes committed by parties outside the law and bringing them to justice.
Major General Al-Helou also stressed that the police, the security establishment, citizens and various community institutions are partners in maintaining security and public order and that working to ac
hieve this is an integrated process.
In turn, Al-Saadi conveyed the greetings of the Chairman and members of the Board of Directors of the Palestine Islamic Bank to Major General Yousef Al-Hilu and the security establishment, thanking them for their great role in protecting citizens and national institutions and the speed of dealing with any attacks or acts that violate the law, the latest of which was the speed of response in dealing with the crime of burglary at the bank’s office. In the town of Dar Salah in the Bethlehem Governorate, we will reveal the identity of the suspects within a short time and work to bring them to justice.
Al-Saadi also affirmed the bank’s concern for the safety of its customers and employees in the first place, stressing that the recent attack will not affect the Dar Salah office and that it receives customers as usual during daily working hours.
