An earthquake measuring 5.3 magnitude on the Richter scale struck on Thursday Gorontalo Province, northeastern Indonesia. A statement by the Indonesian Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency said that the epicenter of the earthquake occurred 45 km from Boalemo Regency, at a depth of 156 km.
