Manama, Lieutenant General Theyab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi, Chief of Staff of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), inspected the progress of the final phase of the "Shield of the Nation 2024" drill. The drill, conducted by BDF in collaboration with the National Guard and the Ministry of Interior across the governorates of the Kingdom of Bahrain, aims to enhance operational readiness and coordination. Lieutenant General Al Nuaimi was briefed on the exercise objectives, stages, participating units, and weapons. He observed parts of the final phase of the drill, including leadership procedures, control measures, and joint coordination operations by the participants. Emphasising BDF's commitment to conducting such drills, Lieutenant General Al Nuaimi highlighted their importance in unifying operational applications, refining combat and administrative skills, and enhancing practical leadership approaches to tackle diverse challenges, ensuring high combat readiness and advanced administrative preparedness.
