Health authorities in Gaza confirmed today that the number of martyrs killed in the occupation's bombing of a school sheltering displaced people in Deir Al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip has risen to 30 martyrs, including children and women, in addition to more than 100 wounded, including serious cases. Palestinian News Agency (WAFA) indicated that ambulance and civil defense crews continue to recover the victims, noting that the number of martyrs is likely to rise, explaining that the wounded were transferred to the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital, which has become crowded with wounded. On the other hand, the health authorities in Gaza confirmed that a number of primary health care centers have gone out of service as a result of the increase in the squares and residential areas that the occupation forced their residents to evacuate. The health authorities added in a statement that the health centers: Bani Suhaila, Jourat Al-Lut, Abasan, and Al-Qarara, in addition to several field medical points, have gone out o f service in light of the increase in the squares whose residents are being forcibly evacuated by the occupation in the southern Gaza Strip. They stressed that it is no longer possible to operate the European Hospital despite the urgent need for it, noting that the hospital is located in the town of Al-Fakhari, east of Khan Yunis, and was evacuated at the beginning of this month when the occupation forced the residents of that area to be forcibly displaced.
