HE Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, paid an inspection tour to Hamad International Airport (HIA) and Doha International Airport yesterday. The tour aimed to view the expansion and upgradation operations in the two airports and their readiness to receive the audience of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™.
HE started the tour by visiting HIA where he inspected the new airport terminals, their utilities and equipment based on the state-of-the-art systems to facilitate the procedures of receiving the audience of the World Cup tournament, guests of the country and its visitors.
HE was also briefed on the working mechanism in the terminals and their storage capacity, in addition to the modern systems and services utilized there.
