Health Minister inaugurates Imam Al Hussain Medical Clinic

Manama, Dr. Jaleela bint Al Sayyed Jawad Hasan, Minister of Health, inaugurated the Imam Al Hussain Medical Clini, set up in Manama for the commemoration of Ashoora, for the year 1446 AH. Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, Governor of the Capital Governorate; Yousif bin Saleh Al Saleh, Chairman of the Jaffari Endowments Council; and Dr. Ejlal Faisal Al Alawi, Chief Executive of Primary Health Care Centres, were present. The minister commended the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa on ensuring the success of the annual observance of Ashoora, which is implemented by the government, led by His Royal Highness Prince and Prime Minister. She commended the efforts of the medical clinic's team for equipping the clinic with all necessary resources for participants observing Ashoora. The minister emphasised the ongoing cooperation with the healthcare sectors to enhance the quality of care provided to citizens and residents of Bahrain. For his part, Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulrahman highligh ted the clinic's efforts in providing necessary treatment for emergency cases during Ashoora. Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulrahman commended the community partnership between the concerned government entities and civil society institutions in preserving public health and safety. Yousif bin Saleh Al Saleh underscored the importance of taking measures for healthcare during Ashoora. He said that the opening of Imam Al Hussain Medical Clinic comes within the framework of strengthening community partnerships during various religious and national occasions, in cooperation with the Ministry of Health, Government Hospitals, and Primary Health Care Centres. Dr. Al Alawi emphasised the Primary Health Care Centres' support in providing all necessary resources to the Imam Hussein Medical Clinic to deliver optimal health services during Ashoora. She said the clinic has a skilled medical team from Primary Health Care Centers and Government Hospitals proficient in managing various health conditions. It is equipped with advance d medical facilities and a fully stocked pharmacy. The clinic has directly coordinated with the Accident and Emergency Department at the Salmaniya Medical Complex to manage cases requiring hospital transportation. Source: Bahrain News Agency
