His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS), General Sports Authority (GSA) Chairman and Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) President received at his office at Al Wadi Palace Electricity and Water Affairs Minister Yaser bin Ibrahim Humaidan.
Also present were GSA Deputy Chairman HH Shaikh Salman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, GSA Chief Executive Officer Dr. Abdulrahman Sadiq Askar and Energy Efficiency Acting Director General Dr. Hanan Al Bouflasa.
HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad outlined the GSA’s vision and plans to develop the sector of sports and support clubs, focusing on ways of promoting cooperation regarding sports affairs.
He stressed the importance of stepping up cooperation between the GSA and the ministry which would contribute to delivering better services to national clubs and sports facilities.
The minister praised the efforts undertaken by HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad to develop the sector of sports in the Kingdom of Bahrain, stressing the ministry’s commitment to supporting the sports sector.
