Manama, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Prime Minister, today received the Chief of the United States Naval Operations, Admiral Lisa Franchetti, at Gudaibiya Palace. His Royal Highness highlighted the strength of the longstanding relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United States of America, which are cemented on strategic partnerships and memoranda of understanding across various fields, the most recent being the Comprehensive Security Integration and Prosperity Agreement. HRH the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and Prime Minister noted Bahrain's commitment to continue building on the strategic bilateral partnership to achieve shared aspirations, including upholding regional peace and development efforts. His Royal Highness commended the US's pivotal role, alongside allied countries, in consolidating the foundations of peace, security, stability, and development in the region a nd the world. Regional and global developments and issues of common interest were also discussed. The Commander of the Royal Bahrain Naval Force, Rear Admiral Ahmed Mohammed Al Binali, and Deputy Commander Flotilla His Highness Staff Commander Shaikh Isa Bin Salman Al Khalifa, also attended the meeting.
