The general index of Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) dropped 45.11 points, or 0.45%, at the beginning of trading on Tuesday, reaching 10,048 points, compared to yesterday's closing. QSE general index was weighed down by a decline in six sectors: Transportation by 1.67%; Industrials by 0.68%, Telecoms by 0.41%; Insurance by 0.39%; Real Estate by 0.34%; and Consumer Goods and Services by 0.07%. The Banks and Financial Services sector was flat at 0.00%. By 10:00 am, 23.595 million shares were traded in 2,207 transactions valued QR 54.532 million. Source: Qatar News Agency
