Damascus, Syria condemned in the strongest terms the twin terrorist attacks that targeted on Wednesday innocent civilians near the shrine of martyr Qassem Soleimani in Kerman city of southern Iran that claimed the lives and injured hundreds of citizens. 'Syria extends its sincere condolences to the leadership, government and people of the Islamic Republic of Iran and to the affected families, wishes a speedy recovery to the injured', Foreign and Expatriates Ministry said in a statement. The statement added that Syria affirms the inevitability of the failure of terrorists and their supporters in achieving their ugly goals. The Ministry stressed Syria's full solidarity with Iran in the face of the terrorist attacks and shameful conspiracies against it, and its confidence in its ability to overcome this painful ordeal. Syria considers that the escalation of terrorist attacks in the region by known hostile sides is clear evidence of the defeat and failure of their projects, the Ministry added.
