Syrian Special Olympics torch launches from Quneitra

The Special Olympics torch was launched on Thursday from the liberated city of Quneitra, with the participation of a number of players from all governorates.

That was a part of the activities of the 6th local session of the Syrian Special Olympics.

Numerous athletes participating in lighting the torch spoke about the symbolism of the starting-point in Quneitra, which has a special place in the hearts of all Syrians.

They stressed that their participation is a token of love and loyalty to our steadfast people in the villages of the occupied Syrian Golan, and a message of defiance to the Zionist enemy saying that we adhere to our right to liberate all our soil.
