The number of Russian soldiers killed and wounded since the start of the Russian war on Ukraine in February 2022 has climbed to 518,560, including 1,270 soldiers who were killed or wounded during the past 24 hours. The General Staff of Ukraines Armed Forces said in a statement that Ukraines defense forces destroyed 7,869 Russian tanks, including 26 tanks on Saturday, 15,131 armored fighting vehicles, 13,593 artillery systems, 1,097 multiple rocket launchers, and 836 anti-aircraft warfare systems, 357 warplanes, 326 helicopters, 10,982 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), 2,277 cruise missiles, 28 warships, a submarine, 18,562 vehicles and fuel tankers, and 2,253 units of units, specialized equipment, Ukrainian National News Agency (Ukrinform) reported. Since the outbreak of the military operation in Ukraine in 2022, there have been conflicting reports about the losses of both sides to the conflict, with each party claiming high losses for the other.
