US police announced that one person was killed and nine others were injured in a shooting incident that occurred during a celebration near Tennessee State University. The police said that three minors were among the injured, all of whom are in stable condition at a local hospital. Gunfire erupted between two groups of people late Saturday night. It is likely that some bystanders were hit during the incident, the police said. Nashville Police Department said that at least one of the injured is suspected of being involved in the shooting. The police did not immediately mention whether they are searching for any individuals related to the shooting. Metro Nashville Police Commander Anthony McClain explained that investigators were unable to determine right away if any of the shooting victims were students of Tennessee State University.
