Ten Palestinians were martyred in the Gaza Strip Wednesday as a result of airstrikes and artillery shelling carried out by the Israeli occupation army against homes and displacement camps housing hundreds of thousands of displaced people. Medical sources said that three Palestinians were martyred and several were injured when the occupation warplanes bombed a house in the Bureij camp in the central Gaza Strip. Four others were martyred and dozens were injured in shelling that targeted a group of Palestinians in the Al-Sawarah area, west of the Al Nuseirat camp. In Al Nuseirat as well, the Civil Defense said that its crews transferred 3 martyrs and 15 injured after the occupation bombed the Al-Nuseirat Elementary School, which houses displaced people in the new camp. Two Israeli raids also targeted an uninhabited house near Al-Uruba School in the camp. Civil Defense crews in the northern governorate had previously recovered two martyrs from under the rubble of a house that the Israeli occupation targeted the day before yesterday in the Jabalia camp. Field sources reported that the Israeli occupation army withdrew from the town of Al Fakhari, east of Khan Yunis, after seven days of ground incursion, leaving behind widespread destruction. Medical sources announced that the death toll from the Khan Yunis massacre committed by the occupation since last night until dawn Wednesday has risen to 54 martyrs. The occupation army made a surprise incursion last night towards the areas of Maan, Al Manara and Al Salam neighborhoods in Khan Yunis and committed a major massacre after bombing residential homes belonging to several families in the area, leaving behind widespread destruction to homes and infrastructure. The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that the death toll from the Israeli aggression on the Strip has risen to 41,689 martyrs and 96,625 injuries since last October 7. Source: Qatar News Agency
