Gaza, Palestinian rescue and ambulance crews announced Tuesday that more than 10,000 missing persons are still under the rubble of hundreds of destroyed buildings since the start of the Israeli occupations aggression against the Gaza Strip. The crews said that the 10,000 missing are not included in the martyrs statistics, as their bodies did not reach hospitals, and searching for them under the rubble using primitive means would take two to three years, Palestinian news agency (WAFA) reported. They also warned that the accumulation of thousands of bodies under the rubble began to cause the spread of diseases and epidemics, especially in light of the high temperatures that accelerate the decomposition of the bodies. Rescue and ambulance crews called for international organizations to pressure Israel to allow the entry of equipment to rescue the injured and recover the bodies of the martyrs. Medical sources announced earlier today that the death toll in the Gaza Strip since Oct. 7 had risen to 34,535 martyr s, along with 77,704 injuries, the majority of whom were children and women.
