12 Palestinians Martyred in Israeli Aerial, Artillery Strikes on Gaza

Gaza, Twelve Palestinians were martyred, and others injured on Friday in airstrikes conducted by the Israeli occupation army on multiple areas across the Gaza Strip, with the Israeli aggression on the Palestinian enclave entering its 273rd day. Palestinian news agency (WAFA) reported that medical and rescue personnel recovered bodies of 4 martyrs, along with several injured, following Israeli bombing of a house in the Al-Daraj neighborhood east of Gaza. They were whisked off to Al-Ahli Arab Hospital "Al-Muamalatani" in the city. The Israeli army fired artillery shells into regions of Shejaiya neighborhood in Gaza amid heavy gunfire which devastated some of residential buildings in the neighborhood. Additionally, medical and rescue personnel retrieved five bodies of Palestinian martyrs following an Israeli bombing of a house in the Old Gaza Street in Jabalia town north of the enclave. They were subsequently whisked off to Kamal Adwan hospital in the town of Beit Lahia. Meanwhile, the Palestinian Red Cresce nt Society (PRCS) reported that its personnel transferred the body of a martyr and three Palestinians who were injured in an Israeli drone attack on Al-Sikka Street, east of Jabalia camp to Kamal Adwan hospital. Also, PRCS's personnel recovered a body of Palestinian martyr from the vicinity of Tahrir Station on Salah Al-Din Street, east of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip, and was transferred to Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Younis. The Israeli occupation's artillery shelled Nasr area northeast of Rafah, concurrently with the Israeli incursion into areas of Abu Halawa and Abu Al-Husayn, as well as outskirts of the Nasr area east of the city. PRCS reported the martyrdom of a Palestinian and the injury of his wife in an Israeli airstrike on their home in the town of Bani Suheila east of Khan Younis city in the southern Gaza Strip. They were whisked off to Nasser Medical Complex in the city. The Israeli occupation soldiers launched flares in the southeast areas of Khan Younis city, while Israeli military air craft pounded an uninhabited house in the town of Abasan Al-Kabira east of the city. The occupation targeted northwest of the Nuseirat refugee camp with artillery and a salvo of bullets, striking areas north of Zahra City in the central Gaza Strip. The number of casualties in the Gaza enclave rose to 38,011 martyrs, mostly women and children, and 87,445 injured since Oct. 7, 2023, in an infinite toll while thousands of victims are still under rubble and on roads, with medical and rescue personnel being unable to reach them.
