Gaza - Ma'an - The government media office in the Gaza Strip reported that the number of journalist martyrs in the Strip has risen to 174 since the beginning of the war, following the assassination of journalist Wafaa al-Adini. This morning, the occupation forces assassinated the prominent media activist Wafaa Al-Adini, following a treacherous Israeli bombardment of her home in Deir Al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip. The Palestinian Media Forum said in a statement: The occupation forces assassinated the media figure Wafaa Al-Adini, a prominent activist in conveying the Palestinian narrative to foreign media. She and her family (her husband and two children) were killed in a treacherous Israeli bombardment of their home in the city of Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip. The Forum proudly mourned the journalist Wafaa Al-Adini, who devoted her life and efforts to conveying the suffering of her oppressed people through international media through a series of articles in English, dialogues with foreign ac tivists, electronic conferences, photo exhibitions, and short film competitions in English.
