2 Palestinians Injured by Israeli Occupation Gunfire in West Bank

Two Palestinians were injured by live ammunition fired by Israeli occupation forces in Qalqilya in the West Bank. Local sources said that the two young men sustained gunshot wounds, one in the hand and another in the foot, while they were near the Israeli occupation apartheid wall in the Al-Marj area on the northern edge of the city, according to Palestinian news agency (WAFA). The two were transported to Darwish Nazzal Governmental Hospital in the city, where their condition was described as stable. In a related development, Israeli occupation forces stormed the village of Azzun Atma south of Qalqilya, setting up a military checkpoint at the village entrance. The forces stopped and inspected the vehicles of local residents and checked their IDs, though no arrests have been reported. The occupation forces also stormed the village of Burqa, east of Ramallah. Local sources reported that an occupation army force stormed the village, roamed its streets and fired sound bombs and tear gas. No injuries have bee n reported. Source: Qatar News Agency
