Thirty people were killed and 62 others were injured as a result of the continued Israeli airstrikes on various areas of Lebanon. In a statement on Sunday, the Lebanese Ministry of Health said that 21 people were killed and 47 others were injured as a result of airstrikes carried out by Israeli aircraft on the Baalbek-Hermel region in eastern Lebanon. Five people were killed and 10 others were injured in Israeli airstrikes on Bint Jbeil district in southern Lebanon, where the strikes targeted the towns of Aita Al Shaab, Al Suwaneh, Kafra, Bani Hayyan, Tebnine, and Shaqra. The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced the killing of four people and the wounding of five others in an Israeli airstrike that targeted the town of Anqoun in southern Lebanon, noting that the condition of one of the injured is critical. Lebanon is exposed to extensive Israeli attacks targeting border villages and infrastructure, which led to the killing and wounding of thousands of Lebanese, in addition to forcing hundreds of thousand s of residents of the targeted areas to flee, as the Israeli entity escalated its air and artillery attacks on various Lebanese governorates and regions in conjunction with its ongoing aggression on the Gaza Strip since Oct.
