An earthquake measuring 4.5 on the Richter scale hit Fiji on Sunday. The earthquake occurred south of the Fiji Islands, at a depth of 570.2 km, the US Geological Survey reported. There have been no reports of causalities or material damage due to the earthquake so far. Fiji is located along the Pacific Ring of Fire, making it exposed to many tremors and aftershocks that may be strong at times. Source: Qatar News Agency
