An earthquake measuring 4.5 magnitude on the Richter scale struck on Wednesday Fiji Islands in the South Pacific. The US Geological Survey (USGS) said that the earthquake occurred south of Fiji Islands, 327.4 km from Tonga Islands and was at a depth of 540.0 km. There have been no reports of casualties or material damage due to the earthquake. Fiji Islands are located in an area called the Ring of Fire in the Pacific Ocean, which is exposed from time to time to many aftershocks and earthquakes that may be strong. Source: Qatar News Agency
